CHALLENGE
Dulwich College International, the first British Independent School in Asia, was facing stiff competition from many other new international schools with similar heritage. In 2012, we were appointed to relook at their long-term strategy and then to reposition and rebrand the school to maintain its leadership position.

SOLUTION
Open realized that most British Independent Schools were offering the same (or similar promise) but that it didn’t necessarily appeal to the new Asian Expat. We came up with a simple and engaging positioning that teachers, parents and students alike could believe in – ‘Inspiration starts here.’ As brand consultants and guardians, we have developed easy to understand brand guidelines as well as intricate signage guidelines; bold advertising campaigns and dynamic EDMs; the new indulwich.com website and dramatic house stairwells; uniform designs and premium gifts. A partnership we sincerely hope will continue to develop and growing as the school expands globally.
